WWWE Logo Bookmark

While browsing the Web, you are certain to come across sites to which you want to return. Making a written note of the site, and keeping such a list up to date is a time consuming nuisance. The list of bookmarks is a personal record of site addresses together with a brief description of what the item is. A bookmark is a pointer to a location saved for future use. The most common bookmarks are URLs stored by a Web browser, but other utilities such as gopher and FTP clients also store bookmarks. Most Internet service utilities have a menu titled "bookmarks", "favorites" or "hotlist" where your bookmarks are stored. You will need to consult your software's documentation for information on the use and configuration of its bookmark capabilities.
